Ben's Yard is located at Stuntney Estate, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 5TR. We sit on the A142 between Ely and Newmarket, close to the A11, A14 and A10, making us a great stopping point whether you're travelling across East Anglia or heading between London and Norfolk.

We have plenty of on-site parking, with additional overflow parking for events and those busier days. In addition we have 8 EV charging points and plenty of disabled parking spaces.

This parking is free of charge for customers and guests.

Ben's Yard is approximately 2 miles from Ely city centre, a short drive along the A142. Ely is served by regular trains from Cambridge (approx. 15 mins) and London King's Cross (approx. 1 hour 20 mins).

The nearest train station is Ely. From there, the site is a short taxi or rideshare journey. We recommend checking local taxi firms in Ely, or using a rideshare app. There is currently no direct bus route to Stuntney Estate.

We are generally open on Bank Holidays with reduced hours of 10am–4pm. Over the Christmas and New Year period, opening times vary by day.

The Café at Ben's Yard is a welcoming all-day café, serving freshly prepared breakfasts, light lunches, homemade cakes, coffee and seasonal specials in the heart of Ben's Yard.

The café menu features a wide selection of breakfast favourites, lunches, children's meals, homemade cakes, hot and cold drinks, along with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, as well as takeaway food and drinks.

Led by the award-winning Holland Hospitality team, it's the perfect place to meet friends, enjoy a relaxed meal or coffee, and unwind while visiting Ben's Yard.

Yes, The Farm Shop at Ben's Yard stocks local produce, meat, fresh food and groceries all at amazing value.

They have a range of ready to go and ready to cook produce too.

Please note that dogs are not permitted inside the farm shop, though they are welcome throughout the rest of the site.

We love dogs and welcome well-behaved dogs on leads in our restaurant, cafe, shops, and Wildflower Trails.

Ben’s Yard is also home to Ely Dog Park, open 7 days a week.

While dogs aren’t allowed inside the farm shop, they’re very welcome in all our other outdoor areas and many of our spaces around the site.

Ely Dog Park is a fully enclosed, secure off-lead dog park located at Ben's Yard. It's the perfect place to let your dog run free in a safe environment. Bookings can be made at elydogpark.co.uk.

Ben's Yard is a fantastic day out for families. Highlights include:

No, the Adventure Playground is completely free to use and does not need to be booked in advance.

Our Wilding Walks and parking are also free.

Yes. Ben's Yard is a fully pedestrianised site and we have worked hard to ensure maximum accessibility throughout, including wheelchair access to the restaurant, café, and shops. Accessible parking spaces are located close to each entrance.
